Beverage container material and cost reduction
A Fortune 200 beverage company was looking for cost reduction opportunities in large multi-packs. Their packaging was an integral part of point of purchase and prominently displays their brand. The challenge was to reduce the cost of packaging, while maintaining the structural performance of the pack under different moisture conditions.
Adalis re-engineered the package to reinforce the critical hand hold area. The new design reduced the caliper of the board, but the package performed well under varying moisture conditions.
The new design yielded substantial cost savings. At the same time, the improved package maintained package integrity. It out-performed the original pack.
