Veneer composing products

Adalis provides specialty veneer composing pre-coated tapes and strings which are rigorously tested and matched to individual veneer species and mill conditions.  Appropriate products are selected through a bond requirement assessment in which veneer species, adhesive application conditions, bond values and veneer shelf life requirements are analyzed and aligned with product specifications. 

Adalis Sesame Veneer Tape and Adalis String-King are manufactured in a variety of bond strengths to match specific veneer species and thicknesses. Adalis technical representatives can select the optimum tape according to the bond strengths required by each individual mill. In some cases, Adalis chemists and technicians produce special products for particularly demanding or unique production circumstances.

Adalis Hot Melt Adhesive provides excellent bonds for spot head welding in the joints between veneer sheets.  Our hot melts are formulated for flexibility, making them an excellent choice for demanding spot head welds.

Adalis Eclipse Veneer Adhesive is a non-EVA based hot melt that provides superior and flexible bonds without ever clogging composer machinery. Consistent use of Eclipse actually promotes cleaning of composer hot melt systems eliminating any need for downtime to clean out hot melt units or blocked spot heads.
